Gone to play among the stars On Flickr Bad day today I was over with a neighbour putting a battery into his tractor twas just gone 5 phone rang someone had hit one of the cats at the shop pooe thing was alive vet closes at 5.30 so twas a quick call and a dash to pick up kitten when I arrived I knew what had to be done git him into James who done an xray back and pelvis broken so had to be pts so sad but I did t have a choice

So sad , but even sadder for you Pat , as you meet these souls , feed them and nurture them as best you can

Every now and again I sit and wounder and debate with myself the why and the why not and then I pick up my sad bones and carry on because although I might be broken i cant give up on them tonight a group if kids asked me if I feed in another estate i know a family thay live there and if there is hungry cats well they can't be left out there without some help winter is on the way and it's time to get them all winter ready

spider , you do what you do out of love, and you did what you did also out of love. Keep up the good work. The cat are resourceful creatures and would more than likely be ok without you, BUT boy would they miss you. The love is mutual, even if they don't always show it. Sending you a really big HUG.

So sad for you spider. Another of your cats gone to Rainbow Bridge, the others will look after him. Take comfort in the other cats that you tend to. I don't think they could manage without you. A stray/feral cat without regular access to food ends up dirty and unhealthy. Your cats look so fit and healthy for outdoor cats and they are a credit to you. RIP little cat.

On a good note the two little ones are now I think 3 weeks old mooching about vera still minding them big tummies I will have to find great homes for them together or perhaps vera might keep then she made that suggestion yesterday but we see
