They’re all pretty far away from where we’re at. We do know people being evacuated though. It’s only going to get worse, sadly.

Animals I love: I am a big animal lover but i have a special place in my 💓 for Dogs and Cats.
Pets I own: I am owned by 2 Rough Collies 🐶🐶 called Riley and Elsa and a rescue Cat Freddy😻 and not forgetting the new additions Mabel 🐹and moonlight 🐹 I have previously owned 2 german spitz named Mitzi Moo and Phoebe my 2 little angelsxx gone but never forgotten xx
And my late rescue cat Sindy that I keep close to my heart ♥️

My mom and siblings are all still in BC, they’re quite a bit away from the fires right now though. My mom said if it gets close she’ll probably come stay with me.

Mikila and Avi are good, as cuddly as ever haha.

My partners family was trying to convince me to adopt one of their puppies last month. They were adorable but I don’t have the space for a dog right now (they’re Labrador x Bernese mountain dogs, so very large dogs lol)

mistyanna, I echo lotsofcats both the safe news & the puppy suggestion. That combination sounds like quite a large dog & if the Labrador strain is anything to go by potentially a lot of energy. I was brought up with Labradors! I remember one of our members AnnaAmber had 3 Bernese mountain dogs! She hasn't been on the forum for a few of years though.
