Is one sick little fellow and we don't know what caused this for some time he hasn't being sleeping on his scratcher its not that he can't jump he can but doesn't seem to be that bothered prefers boxes and rugs the last while he has been fussy eating but nothing toncause worry but the last weeknhe is getting sick not drinking water he has bèn to vet got several injections and tablets the sick u can time he is eating pouches of shop cat food which he never did and off to sleep shortly after that no water but he is getting fluid from the wet food when he weakens up he almost immediately get sick a kinda water looking sick a little pee but no poo he is tobget two tablets one tomorrow morn and other that niggt and tobvet on Tuesday for a blood test and I'm hoping a xray prherhaps he has swallowed something that's blocked somewhere along the path but he will sit in the sunnroom.watching a leaf or hunting a spider or playing with the string on my glasses very worried about him

Little update booms has taken to sleeping in his carrier with the door removed I guess he feels safe in there I been praying all day 🙏 at half five he woke up and didn't get sick walked to the kitchen and tucked into a littlentub of food I was making dinner and when it was ready we all marched to the sitting room ans he got back into his carrier cleaned a bit and went back to sleep the no sick is big

Thanks for asking its a bit up and down got up yesterday morn to a really full litter tray this morning no poo but hoping for today he is much better in himself seems to be on his way back to us tg

Bloods were to be done on Wed but booms was underenough stress we decided to put off the test for a while but he turned a corner on wed eve last night he was drinking form his water dish and has been eating food not his dry food but sheba but at this stage food is food toilet is great and he is waking about with his tail up and his usual? On the end of his tail he has come back to us TG we will get bloods done in a while but won't dl them till he is a bit heavier we have. Now a kg and a half to get back on him

Glad to hear Moonbeam has turned the corner spider. As you say getting weight back on is a priority so eating what ever he wants is ideal Both Roman & Osiris lost weight so I gave them as much of whatever they wanted as the way forward. The weight loss was stopped and in Roman's case with meds & 700g of wet cat food a day we stabilised it at a reasonable but lower than normal weight (he could afford some of that loss). Osiris's issue is he's got even more picky but some home cooked chicken or a little plain ham as a topping usually help him eat his cat food. In fact he'd much rather eat fish/meat cooked for humans! He does get some treats of it at times but I'm very careful to check that he doesn't get anything that's bad for cats so no onions/garlic/grapes/raisins etc. One thing the vet suggested, to get Osiris eating, was scrambled egg & was very surprised when I told him that Osiris didn't like it, typical!! Lexie likes a little but then she's a dairy addict so butter in it helps.  I hope you can find Moonbeam's go to food to help him start eating properly again. |

At the moment his gontonfood is almost anything except his old favourite but at this stage he can eat whatever he likes so long as he keeps improving
