For those who remember them, Avansa sadly lost lovely Finn last year after illness.
And today, I received a message from milooox telling me that last week they lost the gorgeous Milo, again after an illness.
I'm not sure if either will post here, but as they were/are members, I thought it would be nice to remember them here.

Ahhhh that is sad , Milo and Finn were lovely characters from what I remember. Run free , young again. Beau would have met them at the bridge , that I know . Sorry for your loss Avansa miloooox  |

The last I saw of Monty & Woody news is that poor Monty has been diagnosed with lymphoma but seemingly he's coping okay with the treatment. Milo lab also seems to be doing okay, from what I've seen on facebook, although showing signs of doggy dementia, which is sad. |

Just logged back on after years and seen the notifications for this, thankyou everyone for your well wishes<3 And thankyou orpheous87 for making the thread<3 We didn't think Milo would make it to his 12th b-day, but he made it to not only that but Christmas of 2021 too<3 We worked hard on his dog reactivity his whole life and he got a good while free of his anxieties and learned to trust dogs again. He had a best friend, my sisters dog, and they went on loads of walks together before the end. Since we knew his diagnosis was terminal, we got a puppy a few months before he died to ease the pain, I thought having another little soul relying on me would make it easier to get through his passing. They got on great even if she did annoy the life out of him, and in turn she picked up a few of his mannerisms. Which where a nightmare at the time, but now it's like he lives on in her when she steals our empty crisp packets XD We had to put him down in Feb of 2022 as he could no longer stand so we knew it was time. He had a lovely send off, a vet came to the house, and the whole family where there with him. Our new puppy, Renn, even curled up against his head as he went to sleep. It was very emotional! The vet company we had come to the house took his pawprints for us and sent loads of copies so we could all get a tattoo of his paw print. Mines on my arm and I love it! It reminds me that he's with me everyday<3 |
