Today I have had a rather large conversation with a member via PM. Since a few PM's ago, I have had 2 extra PM's. I looked in my messages and I didn't have any new ones, but it still said I have two new messages?! What's going on, will it fix?

there may be an inbuilt limit on the amount of messages that you can keep. Maybe deleting some older ones might help

I have deleted all messages apart from two which are still currently active PM threads. The 2 is still there, hopefully its a glitch which will go away.

BorderTerrier Sorry, just a thought. I used to admin a game forum and we had a 50 message limit on there, which meant users would need to delete old messages before they could access new ones. Sounds like a glitch-hopefully

it was a known bug a few months ago and it was fixed, I have just resurrected my post on the support forum and asked if it is a known bug again. Will let you know when I hear back

I remember seeing that problem & that it was fixed on the support forum but the odd one had to be manually fixed by the proboards support.

Shouldn't be as much of an issues anymore from what I have observed; out of curiosity if you click on the notification bubble directly again, does that take care of it?
