Have they tried a cuddly toy ( safe one no stuffing ? ) or an old bit of clothing with their scent on and a radio left on low maybe ? didnt chantel have problems with Elsa similar ( mind you I could be dreaming this  ? lotsofcatsThey have bought a toy that pulses. I'll tell them about the radio. |

Baby Chappie is still being a bit naughty in the night and crying. My son spoke to someone that trains guide dogs and he was told that when the puppy cries, to go to him and scold him. Otherwise if he gets a cuddle then he will do it all the more and will end up in their bed with them. They scolded chappie twice on Tuesday night and he eventually settled down. He gets taken in the car each day up to my son's girlfriend's mum's house where he plays with Billy, the other puppy from the litter and they run around and around the dining table for ages!. I asked my son if the breeders had given Chappie a name and......what a coincidence - it was Kobi!  Scolding the poor pup for crying is a bit mean. Would that trainer scold a baby crying at night too? I'm sure that theory has been disproven. I would probably try a soft toy, like scallywag said. You can get ones that mimic a heartbeat now to replace the mum/siblings that the pup has been separated from. It sounds like he's having a whale of a time during the day though! Bless him. |

His name has been changed to Ted, short for Teddington. We went to see him yesterday and he is lovely.

2 pics from when I went to visit Ted on Saturday. He's playing with his soft toy dinosaur. He's a very loving puppy and so sociable.  on Flickr  , on Flickr My son and his girlfriend had Ted's sibling, Billy, for the night on Saturday. The puppies ran around like idiots, peed and pooped everywhere and had a whale of a time. Luckily they were quite good in the night. |

Have they tried a cuddly toy ( safe one no stuffing ? ) or an old bit of clothing with their scent on and a radio left on low maybe ? didnt chantel have problems with Elsa similar ( mind you I could be dreaming this ? lotsofcatsHe is stunning with new kittens it's said put a ticking clock into a soft toy and let them sleep with it it's supposed to be a heartbeat to a kitten and it doesn't feel alone I don't like the idea of scolding him for crying ok I understand the idea but ahhhhhh how could a person resist picking him up and telling him all will be ok time passed quick enough and years pass and don't we all wish they would waken up at night for a cuddle or is that just me being soft |

That reminder me a few weeks before we collected boomsey we sent a blanket to the lady that had him to put in the bed with the mum and family we brought it back with us when we collected him

Baby Ted came to visit us on Sunday and Kobi ignored him! Ted wanted to get down and play with Kobi. The cats seemed very interested in him, especially Kiba-Khan - although I dread to think what he wanted to do to him.

Ted, my puppy grandson, came to visit yesterday. He has grown so much. He now has a harness and lead as he gets his 2nd jab today and will be able to go out for walkies very soon. He peed twice on my carpet!! He is very clever and can do sit, paw, other paw, high 5, beg, lie down, twirl and twirl the other way - clever clogs! His brother Billy, does no tricks at all. He was very wriggly yesterday as he wants to get at Kobi. We can't trust Kobi with him though.

Forgot to tell you all how naughty Ted was in the car. He's got a harness that clip to a seat belt that keeps him on the seat. He was placed on his puppy pad but he pooped. My son's girlfriend had to stop the car and try to clean it up but Ted managed to get all over the seat and in the seat belt!! She had to take her car down to where my son is based and got it cleaned - luckily my son cleans carpets and upholstery.
