Not yet. I don't have a tree for cat reasons! - just Christmas ornaments, window stickers and cards around the dado rail. I can't do my usual and stand my cards on top of the dado rail, secured with Blutac, as last year hubby had painted the walls and when I took all the cards down the Blutac had left marks and I had to secretly paint over them at 4am! Don't know if they will hold on the dado rail itself.

We have here! I’m lucky and the cats aren’t very interested in the tree so I’ve always been able to put one up

I wish I could have a Christmas tree but it's a certain 2 sisters who would be naughty and climb up it, in it, swing from it etc.

I've had a tree in the living room for the last 2 Christmases, furniture reorganisaation/replacement means there is now room. We stopped having one in that room once we used the bay window for 2 climbers - one in particular for Penny as it is tiered (spiral platforms) & let her arthritic ladyship easily get to the windowsill - as there was no room for the tree we had. I've got a slimmer one now However due to Roman having to be kept in now (I'll do an update soon hopefully) if he's in there with me then I have to have a litter tray & food/water as well, so no room for the tree again especially as Lexie played with any lower ornaments & tried to get them off the tree for those 2 years, last year she was quite naughty with it, no interest in climbing it though! I can see her knocking ornaments into the covered litter tray or using the lid for extra height to reach more "toys"

It was our wedding anniversary on 1st December so we tried to make the best of it during this current situation- I don’t normally put my tree up this early but hubby was trying to get me into the Christmas spirit - it’s going to be really hard 🥲it will be the first Christmas without my Dad . Anyway on the brighter side we put up our tree and just a few trimmings then we got wrapped up and took the pooches a lovely nice long but very cold walk. We then came back and just chilled hubby cooked a lovely steak meal for our tea 😀it was a lovely day x

I hope that getting out the tree early raised your spirits.
