Update..
My vet has just phoned and told me that he had cancer in the tumour that was removed, he's had 3 different types of cancer altogether. The lump in his penis was benign.
He will still going back on Monday to have his stitches out and the lump on his spine looked at.

Thank you everyone.
Good news alfie is cancer free, the lump on alfies spine is a cyst which we've been told that he will get more of.
The lump on his penis was a form of breast cancer, the tumour was causing him to produce female hormones so hopefully there be will be no more problems there.
He will back in the vets next Thursday for his blood test which he needs every 3 months to make sure he's getting the right amount of trilostain.
Its never ending but he's worth it.

Alfie has to have his trilostane upped as the cushions is getting worse which means another blood test next month. I hate putting him through this all the time but it's the only way I can look after him properly

He's doing ok. He's had a few bad days with his hips and stomach and there's not much I can do for him apart from give him an extra tramadol for his hips, he's back in the vets on the 7th for another blood test fingers crossed we won't had to change his dose on the trilostane.
He will be 10 on the 4th Jan, I'm so glad we've still got to see him for his 10th birthday he has surprised us and the vets.
