How long does it take a dog to remove peanut butter/paste from inside a KONG? How long is a piece of string? What do you mean?

Well, how long is a piece of string? Answer the question. String can be any length. If you mean paste/peanut butter can be eaten at any speed, then ok, but I was asking for people's experience or a rough guide.

Exactly! *claps* For Oscar, a kong with Peanut butter in lasts between 30 seconds and a minute. I do not fill a kong with Peanut butter, I will smear the inside at most or use to to seal the stuffed kong.

Thanks for the experience bextull.
Does anyone else's dog get severely frustrated and whiney when they can't get what's in a KONG out? Earl practically screams, and backs up from his KONG in frustration.

Nah I've got labs, they'll do anything for food. If they smell food in a kong they'll be at it till its clean and I take it off them and they whine thinking they've missed some. When I froze it in a bowl of ice last summer it took them ages coz they couldn't get in so I ended up cracking it to give them a starter

I mixed all the treats above, cheese and abit of a digestive biscuit with peanut butter, and he loved it! It was all gone when we got back, though I think next time I will possibly freeze it and see what he thinks, as it obviously didn't last long enough..
Thanks everyone for your input! I will try what has been suggested bectil

bectil that pic reminds me of my mum coming home to find my labs had snapped the bottom tray in their crate and chewed her carpet underneath it! Think I was the only one who found it funny. Hope the kongs work
