I have stopped using the Dorwest Easy Greens and Keepers Mix now that I am no longer feeding raw. Below are the supplements and their reasons: - Garlic and Fenugreek tablets - Contain antibiotic, antiseptic and anti-viral properties
- Olive Oil - Skin and coat care
- Elderberry and Nettle Extract - Increase pigmentation

Todd gets Yumove tablets, and they all get cod liver oils, although Lucy usually spits hers out and someone else eats it.

Pepper gets the following:
Billy No Mates - herbal flea stuff Resist! - another herbal supplement to aid the natural immune system (I may stop this one once this tub is finished) Yumega Plus - salmon oil, safflower oil and golden flax to help her itchy skin
Ellie only gets the BNM and Resist! at the moment.
Today I added coconut oil for the first time. I'm also going to start using Din Dins Wickedly Raw Superfoods supplement as I have two tubs of it that came in the last Pooch Pack. It's apparently got lots of benefits, but we'll see how that goes.

Just wondering if anyone uses anything specific for itchy skin. Riley seems to have really itchy skin, i have recentley changed his food to james/w/b ocean fish so i am hoping that will help but i am using it with his remaining beta that we have got left over. Not sure what supplements i could give riley with him only been a puppy.
Forgot to say that it's not fleas has i have already treated him for that i just think he has got itchy skin. I have already bathed him in flea shampoo with tearee and his skin does seem to be better after his bath but i don't really want to keep bathing him has i have read that it can take out all the natural oils out of his skin. So if anyone can reccomend anything it would be appreciated. Thanx

chantel, Beta isn't the best food and could be what is causing the itching. Hopefully it will stop with the change over to JWB

chantel I use Yumega Plus for itchy skin (http://www.lintbells.com/products/yumega-plus). Pepper used to itch constantly, but it reduced greatly after a couple of weeks using the Yumega Plus and is now pretty much a normal level. I definitely recommend it as it worked wonders for us.

No point in dabbling with this and that until and unless you have determined the cause of the itch.
It is fashionable to accuse food but the fact is that the most common cause of itching is flea saliva allergy and dust mites. No supplements can help with either.

chantel Could you just stop the Beta food now, you must have been adding the JWB for a while now?? I would continue with the JWB and try the Yumega plus, Cooper has been on it since Easter after peeps on here said they were using it and it seems ot be a good move. This is the cheapest that I've seen it:- www.animeddirect.co.uk/search/all/yumega%20plus/relevanceI really should get shares with the amount of times I've linked to their site.
