We had our honeymoon in Italy, we stayed just outside Sorrento in Sant'Agnello, we really enjoyed it and visited Capri, Pompeii,Herculaneum, we did the Amalfi drive, Vesuvius,Ravello, the only thing we didn't like was the busy roads and mad drivers, they seem really aggressive with each other and there were a lot of single file paths as the pavements into Sorrento were very narrow, not the best when you are on honeymoon. Congratulations on becoming a Nanna...will you be called Nanna or grandma? We are going to Sorrento. We are staying in the hotel Bristol which is built into the cliff face. I hope that we will do the whole tourist thing, I have bought loads of guides. However, I think Pete just wants to chill somewhere really nice - we'll see. At the moment I am being called 'goat' (as in nanny goat). Hopefully it will change. Alexandra's mum wants to be granny. She said we can be granny Millar and granny Morris if I want the same. I'm not sure yet....I'm too young to be a .........(insert preference)

You will really enjoy Sorrento, there are some lovely places to eat too and the icecreams are lovely. I love going on excursions when we have been abroad, you get to see so much more of the country etc.
Our niece calls her grandma Goat too, she is six and still calls her Nanny Goat.
I chose Nanna when my children had babies, I didn't feel old enough either so I thought if I get Nanna and they shorten it to Nan people will just think my name is Nancy and I wont have to admit I am old enough to be a Granny. lol
