Good to hear Freddie is back from the vets.
It is strange how they react on the way to the vets. Ivan and Izzy start screaming before we get in the car so i dread taking them. Last time Ted was there he pooped in the carrier. He was absolutely terrified because i had put him into a different one to the carrier we used when we went to collect him. I'm sure he suffers with OCD.

Don't know her name she was only young with long blonde hair. She was great called Freddie "Sweetpea" and when she asked the nurse to hold her to give her the injection she referred to her as Auntie Laura lol.

Nice to have a cat that willing goes in the carrier. If Penny got a chance she'd be hidden where we can't find her - she did try behind the garden shed but luckily we had plenty of time & eventually she got bored & came out. Now we know she knows about that hideyhole we make sure she can't get to it, we hadn't thought she'd go out!!

Other 2 don't have to shut doors so they cant get behind settee etc. Being indoor cats though I know all their hiding places so its just a matter of working through them all!!!!!

I do that with Penny. Her favourite at the moment is underneath the lower shelf of a side table between the spare bed & the wall. It fits exactly so I have to remove everything off the top & lift it out onto the bed to get her.
we learnt the hard way with the room we use as an office - that door is now permanently shut as she got behind the desk there -its very heavy & has a modesty panel behind which we can't get at her. Also the cats feather toys (teasers/Dab Bird etc) are stored so Lexie can't destroy them when not playing with them!
