Got to take Freddie (my oldest cat) to the vets tonight. Its only for her annual check up and boosters but shell probably meow all the way there, set all the pother pets off in the waiting room oh and worse of all shell probably do a wee in the carrier. Car travel really does upset her but no other way to get her there. Not walking there Sandra

I hope that Freddie will be okay at the vets tonight for you Sandra. Make sure you put lots of padding in the carrier if she is likely to wee in it. Toffee did that when I took him once and the vet cleaned his carrier out for me and gave me his wet blanket in a plastic bag and put an old towel in for him.

Go to M & H they've always looked after our cats well. And have no complaints about the treatment we got when Bonnie got her tail trapped in the door and had to take her down as an emergency. From my side of town theres not a lot init to whichever one I went to travel wise. Wish a vets would open my end then I might be tempted to move to them.

LOL I only use the new vets for Beaus Bosters but thats only cause they are nearly £5 cheaper. Yes they looked after our last Springer Very well, but there is one GINGER haired partner ( not Seamus ) whom I refuse to see, ever since he picked Tobi up by the scruff of the neck, instead of letting me pick him up and put him on the table Grrrr my poor boy was really ill too when he did that. I'm too sensetive
Hope all goes well for you tonight, what time ? I may come and introduce myself LOL just joking don't panic xx

Just hoping there isn't many people in the waiting room or the receptionist will need ear plugs!!!!! lol Just love the look when we come out though and she looks as if to say "What set this lot off" lol Still it could be January when I take both Bonnie and Darcy andi have them meowing in unison all the way there lol Sandra

Good luck with Freddie at the vets. I sympathise, Penny's quiet but wee'ing is the least of out problems. It's a rare occurence when she gets to the vets without pooing!! And it's a stinker - have had to apologise to the rest of the waiting room! Occasionally all 3 orifices come into action and she's sick as well. But smell is her first attack mechanism Mind you Osiris occasionally does the same & his are even worse & larger I always take a spare blanket in a bag when I go with those 2 and having the washing machine ready for my return!

Toni Freddie has been known to poo as well though she usually reserves that for the return journey!!!! Bonnie and Darcy are just noiser!!!!!

Sanadra, is we don't get it no the way to the vet , we usually get it on the return. Must admit Pet Remedy or Feliway spray has helped, Penny is less likely to wee or be sick now. I also try to take her for an early morning appointment (the advantages of retirement!) & feed her after but it doesn't always work!

Good Luck at the vets Freddie. I know how you feel. I have been going for over 17 years now and I hate it even more . Expect lots of treats when you get back home. Thinking of you. Molly (ever the lady) Tortie.

Back home all is well saw a lovely female vet not seen her before hope she sees one of my cats again. Had a wee on the way down and a poo on the way back think that's a reaction to the injection!!!! Set a dog off in the waiting room there was only a dog in there!!!!
Hopefully wont have to go again for another year.
Thanks for all your good wishes.
