Was nowhere near as painful as I anticipated, took just over an hour and the right hand side actually tickled (I laughed) but the left hand side was a bit stingy but nothing major. Tattooist did tell me that this is actually normal and that if your right handed then your right hand side wont hurt as much as your left and vise versa. Strange isnt it? Just felt like someone scratching sunburn on the left side, Nothing I can't handle I love it so much and so does my mum (Shocking!)
I posted a pic on Instagram and my tattooist was tagged in it and she commented last night saying well done on being hardcore! she even told me that she finds them really painful but didn't want to tell me when I was getting mine. I didn't find it anywhere near as bad as people had told me.
Hope your all okay Penny is doing well, unfortunately I don't have any pics of her to put up as I'm in Newcastle ATM

Nice artwork, would be better on canvas though, IMO. Sorry not a fan of tats on women.

Pleased you like it Krissi, it is lovely artwork. I know tattoos seem to be the 'in' thing now but I was glad to have mine removed...I am one of a few who prefer no tats on either male or female. I had mine done on a whim on holiday and regretted it ever since until I had it removed...it took a good few years to finally go and over £2,000. A lot of money when I only paid £35 to have it put on. My youngest daughter has stars on her foot and a big tattoo of I think is roses on her lower back, my second daughter has a butterfly on her arm, my son has tattoos with his favourite football team down his forearm, a tribal design on his upper arm, and an home made one of his initials and birthdate on his wrist, I think he had one done on his leg too.

Nice artwork, you're braver than me. No way would I have a tatoo but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate the artwork.

It's pretty Krissi. I'm not brave enough to get a tattoo, but my son is covered in them. He has a brilliant burlesque lady on his left arm, the tattooist managed to make it look like his wife.
