Ebony's always found the washing machine distressing, particularly when it's on the spin cycle. How can I desensitise her to the noise? She's been with me for nearly 3 years so she should be used to the washing machine noises but she doesn't seem to be used to them at all even now and tends to take it out on Tigger when the spin cycle is running.

No bright ideas on desensitisation ebony, but is it possible to keep her well away from it when its in use?

I let her go where she wants to but she;'ll choose to stay downstairs and whack Tigger like she thinks Tigger's the one making the noise, she's got the option of going upstairs to get away from the noise but chooses not to and finds getting picked up and moved distressing so carrying her upstairs and keeping her upstairs isn't really an option. If I go upstairs and encourage her to follow me away from the noise sometimes she chooses to come and other times she refuses.
