When the problem with Mittens will be solved and Shelby will have a home, you can breathe again. Good luck.

Ach to hell with Mittens old owner - the happiness and welfare of Mittens is far more important IMO She wanted rid of her so as far as I'm concerned she has NO SAY in where she then goes! A charity that is more specialised in helping stressed cats will be a lot better for her in the long run

@gillykat That is my thoughts exactly. We are in talks at the moment with the other rescue so hopefully we will have a resolution soon Shelby had her visitor today and she was on her very best behaviour! She was a little timid at first but came around and appears to have taken quite a liking to the lady who had come to see her. The lady comes across as a very genuine person, so we will arrange a home visit for her home and see how we feel when we have done that, but definitely a very strong contender to re-home Shelby

Brilliant news - Shelby, fingers crossed, will soon be in her new Forever Home If she's a proper cat lover she'll understand about her being a wee bit shy at first.
Our Chilli was VERY quiet and shy when she first came home in October 2013 and it's taken months for her to completely relax and show her true sweet temperament She's a very submissive young lady but once she trusts you she is SO affectionate and talkative She's become SO much happier since going out last October and Neil putting the cat flap in for them
