www.petbusinessworld.co.uk/news/feed/bakers-unveils-world-s-first-ever-doggy-vending-machineThis is such a good idea, but even if I stumbled across it, I wouldn't use it because it's Bakers. I know that there are people who are perfectly happy feeding Bakers, and I'm certainly not trying to condemn them (especially as we used to feed Bakers), but I don't like their products. If it had a variety of food/treats, I reckon it would be better used! What does everyone else think?

I agree with you Orpheous, Bakers is full of sugar! Aside that, this is a great idea and quite a funny unexpected one too!
I think that if doggie vending machines were placed around a pet store, people would definately use it! Why not when its such a good, easy idea!
Great, absaloutely love it!

Yeah mixed brands would be good but I guess the different companies wouldn't want to mix?? It's obviously sponsored by Bakers so I guess they will only have their own brands in there.

In my opinion, all sorts of doggie treats should be in the vending machine, maybe one make behind the other, like in human vending machines! If people who are aware of the sugar is Bakers see the Bakers themed vending machines, they probably wouldn't be eager to use them... I don't know about other companies, I don;t know why they wouldn't want to put their make in a doggie vending machine, really.

Bakers needs to come with a health warning imo. Daily I am changing customers over to better foods and when they find out how bad it is they are shocked that it is even being sold.
I wish it was banned.

It's obviously a marketing ploy by Bakers, I agree. I like that the dogs have to interact with it though. I think it would be good fun if you stumbled across one on a walk, and it obviously gives them exercise - it then ruins it by rewarding them with a little packet of Bakers! It would be nice if other brands picked up on this idea though. I suppose it wouldn't really be a viable option for most though as people might not be willing to pay to use it and they'd obviously need to be making a profit to justify installing vending machines in parks.

If Bakers took their advertising budget and instead focused it on the improvement of their food, they'd have a pretty goddamn good food

I agree Petitfilous! Which foods do you normally steer people towards when you tell them the truth about Bakers?

I agree Petitfilous! Which foods do you normally steer people towards when you tell them the truth about Bakers? James Wellbeloved and Wainwright. I also tell them to have a look at raw feeding as well if they really want the best for their doggies

Haha! I hope your bosses don't hear you recommending raw. Although does your store sell the frozen raw food too?

Oh at least you can kind of get away with it then lol. That sounds like what one of my local stores sells. One sells Natures Menu and the other doesn't, but both sell Prize Choice.
