And Neil wonders why I keep my handbags zipped up tight!!! As a kitten Lily always brought me her sponge ball and on one memorable occasion a yellow rubber glove (!) Now that she goes out she has brought the occasional dead vole to me and left them on the doormat I'm just waiting for the day she brings one home through the cat flap and LEAVES IT ON MY PILLOW!!!!! I keep telling her that Mummy doesn't need any help getting food

The worst I've ever had was a rabbit head on my pillow & a pigeon with a broken wing that got stuck in the curtains - we didn't realise it was there until it fell out of them!

Oh dear god....I think I'd have a nervous breakdown if Lily (or Chilli) brought a rabbit home They'd also get a Smacked Bum cos Mummy likes bunnies!!!

Gillycat I had to laugh about smacked bum as my 2 get warned that I'll have to ring Mr Smack Bum if they don't behave. I've had a dead chocolate bunny (the animal) in my bedroom before now.

IT HAS HAPPENED!!!!! At 4am this morning I was woken by Chilli making that ''Look what I've got!'' voice cats do and she was under the bed with a dead vole I stroked her and said ''Ooh what a clever girl - can Mummy have it?'' and took it away and put it in the kitchen bin. Two hours later Neil woke me and showed me ANOTHER dead vole on the floor just outside the bedroom ''Clever Girls - Mummy's full now so I don't need any more!!!'' Slept in until 8.45am and was woken by Lily jumping up on top of me and purring away as she does so we had a cuddle for a while until I decided to get up. I could see both bowls (meat ones) were empty so said ''Ok, who wants breakfast?'' and picked them up. Lily was sniffing the plastic bowl I keep a bit of dry food in and I assumed it was running low so went to fill it up........only to find THIS *see below* in it!!!!!! I just burst out laughing as this was so obviously the work of Lily As I said to Neil...at least it wasn't on my pillow!!!!! Obviously this is what happens when Neil doesn't lock the cat flap at night!!!!! The Girls must have thought it was their birthdays being allowed out to play in the dark!!!!

That's so funny (not for the poor little creature though. Oh Lily! The worse thing I had was when Kali and her kittens used to live in the cat shed. This was when Kali was still an outdoor stray cat and the kittens were about 5 weeks old. Me and hubby were sat in the cat shed playing with the kittens and suddenly Kali came running in from outside and dropped a rat in front of the kittens on the floor - a LIVE rat - it started running around the cat shed. I think Kali thought it was time to get the kittens weaned.

3 in one night! At least they were all dead. Its the live ones I'd worry about. Osiris would say well done Lily whilst Roman would advise making sure you don't bring them home as they get taken from you!!!!

We've had a much quieter night as both girls were locked in by 8pm Had to laugh at young Amber though as she had her catnip mouse on top of her food and I said to Neil it was just like Lily and her vole and surely we couldn't have TWO little madams!!!
