we were at a dog show today, it was at easton farm park and had pedigree and novelty classes, barley was entered in 4 classes; most handsome dog, best rescue, best crossbreed and best big dog. he came 1st in most handsome male, 6th in best crossbreed and 6th in best rescue. Ross was entered in 6 classes; any variety non-sporting, any variety open, waggiest tail, best condition, junior handler and best little dog, he got 2nd junior handler, 3rd best little dog and 4th any variety non-sporting, both dogs are shatterd and barley is busy snoring by my feet. we had lots of fun and came away with 6 rossetts.

Hi puppypal,
Pleased to hear you've had a good time and congrats to barley for first place.
We entered Lotty in the PRT club show today, came 4th in 'Minor puppy dog' and Puppy dog' (out of 4 in each case) at least they gave us a rosette for reserved place. We didn't have her groomed, nor did we know what to expect. The judge loved her but being the scruffiest and least behaved dog I think we deserved 4th place.
Many thanks to all of you who gave advise in my earlier thread - took all on board until we got in the ring.

well done, ross's 4th was out of 4 dogs, but only becuase he is missing his front teeth otherwise he would have been 3rd the judge told me

Well done to all three of you. Wow, so did you meet Lizzy and Roger and Eris properly? Pleased to her you had a successful and fun day - how were your nerves? And any photos? I have commented on the post of this n your blog too - it shows you in Gmail

dad sadly did not take any photos becuase he was holding dogs most of the time so did not have any spare hands, i met roger and he won waggiest tail and i have to taotally agree with that, and lizzy won best rescue but i did not meet her, i dont think eris recognised me or barely, but there were three of them with the dogs, nerves were ok, some trembles here and there but mostly good, thank you for your comment

It's fine PP! Oh, I bet Roger certainly deserved to win Waggiest Tail! . Glad you had a good day and Eris mustn't of recognized you or Barley is she/he didn't speak - she/he is a lovely person!
