Pets I own: Rosie a Maine Coon, Red and Cream.Aged 4 year in (May2014), a BIG quiet girl, and TiaMaria a Black Russian years on (Nov 2013) who is amazing fun.
Sadly Tia was killed in July 2014 by a car.
My son has Parkinsons and lives 2 miles from me. I got him RILEY a black stray 2year old in February 2014, but from a rescue 14 months ago.Very involved with him !
Pebbles age unknown, thrown out of a car, went to my daughter. Also involved with him ! ALL are adorable and so different.
Now (OCT 2014) have a kitten called Lilyana. She looks like her Mum, a Russian Blue. Her Dad is a Rag Doll. She was born on 24/07/2014....the day my darling Tia was killed on the road.
This was meant to be and she is helping me grieve for Tia. Lilyana is delightful.Rosie is now taking to her

Day 4 She wet her bedding last night so I was worried today, but this afternoon she wee'd and poo'd in her litter tray. Whooppee ! I think she's got it ! I think she was constipated which is why I started her on diluted evaporated milk. Now belting around the kitchen playing with umpteen toys. When I go in she hides for a moment then comes to me and tries to climb up my trousers. She purrs long and hard when up. So darned happy.Happyness comes in furry bundles. When Rosie first saw her she was wary and remained so, but no hissing or spitting. She has had so much extra cuddles since Tia died. I think she feels very secure in my love. Not too happy at Lilyana bouncing around the kitchen, but I feel it is going well. I fuss over her a lot.

So pleased to see you got your kitten Tiarosie, she sounds so adorable. She may have been a bit stressed and that is why she was peeing on her bedding. Hopefully now she has done it in her tray she will continue to use it. Sounds like Rosie will accept her with no problems.

Oh that is good news tiarosie, both the change to using the litter tray & Rosie's fairly laid back reaction. Would love to hear your on-going cat diary kitten/cat diary

Great news that Lilyana is using the litter tray. She is bringing you so much well deserved joy. With Rosie being a Maine Coon, she must look massive next to Lilyana.
