i didnt see this till now glad he is on the mend It's back - last night and this morning - luckily I surrounded the litter tray with newspaper on the floor as that's where 90% of it went! I've given Kai Ruki some Perridale again and see if it clears up - I think he may need a vet visit.

I'm sorry to hear that. My Misty had it for 3 years (on the floor) because I followed the advice of the vet. I changed her food from Hills Z/D to I/D and after two days it was compact. Still on the floor but easy to pick up. Hope your vet will not continue his/her original idea if it doesn't work.

He still has it this morning. It's strange because he's not miserable or looking unwell and he's eating fine.

Pets I own: Rosie a Maine Coon, Red and Cream.Aged 4 year in (May2014), a BIG quiet girl, and TiaMaria a Black Russian years on (Nov 2013) who is amazing fun.
Sadly Tia was killed in July 2014 by a car.
My son has Parkinsons and lives 2 miles from me. I got him RILEY a black stray 2year old in February 2014, but from a rescue 14 months ago.Very involved with him !
Pebbles age unknown, thrown out of a car, went to my daughter. Also involved with him ! ALL are adorable and so different.
Now (OCT 2014) have a kitten called Lilyana. She looks like her Mum, a Russian Blue. Her Dad is a Rag Doll. She was born on 24/07/2014....the day my darling Tia was killed on the road.
This was meant to be and she is helping me grieve for Tia. Lilyana is delightful.Rosie is now taking to her

Rosie, Lilyana and I send our love to Kia-Ruki and hope he feels MUCH better now. Poor boy, that would have been miserable for him.

Poor Kai Ruki still has it - I had to clean out 3 litter trays this morning so the meds I have been giving him are not working. I've got an appointment at the vets this evening at 6.
Most nights I get woken up by Aztec crying to go out to the toilet or crying because his blanket has fallen off. Last night it was about 3 o'clock so I got my pillow and went back to sleep on the sofa. About half an hour later I was woken up by Blackberry making sick noises so I jumped up quickly as she was sat on the back of the sofa above me! She puked all down the sofa - a hairball! I want back to sleep only to have Kai Ruki wake me up as he was using the litter tray - I had to clean all that up. Not much later Kiba-Khan decided he would use the litter tray and when he does he keeps scratching on the nearby corner TV unit's glass doors - he thinks that's how he covers it up!! Then Willow used the litter tray and it sounded like she had a bit of diarrhoea too. I'm tired this morning.

Poor Kai Ruki, hope his meds have him back to normal soon. There is nothing worse than when they have the poops.

The vet gave Kai Ruki a probiotic called Pro-Kolin for now - he said that Kai Ruki does not look ill and his tummy felt okay but if he doesn't improve by Saturday (no improvement this morning) he would give some antibiotics. I am mortified - I went to the vets with no money!! It's my husband's fault, I was going by myself and at the last minute he said he would drive. We were halfway there when I asked if he had my car keys and he replied that he was using his - my debit card is in the purse with my car keys! and he didn't have any money on him. I had to ask the vet if I could pay today.

Hey lotsofcats hope he gets better soon! Wonder what is causing it, does he eat the same food as Willow btw? If so, and if she's getting a bit of diarrhoea too, I'd get it checked out. Could be all sorts of things though I suppose. Hope you got a better nights sleep last night too! And don't worry about not having money for the vets, it happened to me once too when I had to rush a pet to the vets and didn't have any money on me, they were happy for me to pop in later to pay. It happens to all of us at some point!
