It's a win-win-win for all involved You get the company of a dog on your travels (I know it's not the same as having your own but it's something!) The owner/rescue centre gets their dog taken on a nice long walk and some attention And the dog is happy to have a nice lady come and spoil them for a bit

I think Billy has gone to a good home. Such a shame that Chilli wouldn't accept him.

Sorry to hear you've had a second disappointment in introducing a newcomer to the family, it must be so frustrating as well as distressing.
It does sound that Billy is going to a lovely home, just a shame he couldn't stay with you but if Chilli is attacking such a small kitten then it is the best thing for both of them.

Frustrating doesn't even begin to cover it But I just have to accept it as I cannot have my two girlies unhappy or stressed out They're both now as happy and loving as they used to be so obviously they're making it clear that THAT is the way they like things in this household Good idea about the dog walking.....I'll look into it in a few weeks once this horrible heat goes away

Hello smilesbetter strange talking about having a dog. I asked my other half about having one so that I could go for a walk and not be by myself. But he said no because of cats and I know my local R.S.P.C.A always want dog walkers and cat cuddlers so I think I will look into it myself.

Haha swoots being a cat cuddled sounds awesome! Dog walking is really rewarding, especially at a rescue centre I'd imagine coz you'd really get to know the dogs and see how they progress. Would be hard not to adopt one haha but @gillykat appears to have dictator Chilli to ensure that she doesn't bring any cute rescues home.

I must admit smilesbetter I would want to bring all the cats home with me. Put it this way if I could I would have my own cattery/ rescue place as there is only one locally. Therefore I would be in heaven but alas it is not to be but we can only dream

Yes, I think they do They play together, sleep together and wash each other....it's just welcoming other animals that they obviously don't do and I guess I'm just going to have to accept that Spoilt little horrors

Chilli just obviously doesn't want another lily - one is already too much to handle Haha swoots I'd be exactly the same!

Sorry to hear you had to rehome Billy. I can understand you having to put Chiili and Lily first but it still doesn't make it any easier for you. Pair of little madams. June.x.
