Hello dog people, I found this picture on 9gag, not the usual place for stirring emotion but nonetheless I thought I would share it with you and see what you think I agree with the statement and the idea but not with the generalisation of the people, but hey they had to use someone. I hope this link works

I saw this on facebook too, I think it's so true! (though I agree about not being too stereotypical!)

I saw it on Facebook. And I dunno. I know plenty responsible families that have out of control or potentially dangerous dogs. On the flip side I know many youths with dogs that are the softest dogs you'd meet and are relatively well trained. Saying that, me and Jasper are probably a fair representation of each other (not looks wise however lol)

I think it's MUCH much more complicated than that. The idea is good but it's not that much the case. You see 'gangs' of kids with well behaved dogs (one I know have two staffies who are lovely, and then they bought their third dog...a Yorkshire Terrier... they (the people) wear chains, hoodies, jeans and trainers) and a lot of families who mean well don't realise the energy and training requirements of a dog, who can then end up becoming bored and destroy things, bite or nip or become food aggressive etc. It would be great if it was as simple as being nice to your dog, but life doesn't work that way I do like the picture in general, and I'm not trying to be difficult hehe. I was a teenager not long ago though, and I used to get a lot of adults looking down on me naturally, particularly because one of my dogs was born without a tail (as a lot of Australian Shepherds are) and we had him after the tail docking ban. People can be very harsh with their judgements!

I agree with the statement but like the others said, I don't think it should be so judge mental. As my example, there are plenty of good families with good dogs but the people still may smoke? For example, we had our Akita who was very very well brought up and my dad smokes(?) I am sure there are lots of adult members who smoke on this forum too? Good photo and I see where there coming from judypops! But I do hate it how they used a Staffie/Bull breed as the example - dunno why just don't like the fact!
