I had a great Mother's Day. Both my cards had cats on! I had Oil of Olay day and night cream and a @i l love you Mum' cat coaster off my daughter and off my son I had a cat mug and lots of packets of flower seeds for the garden.
Kai Ruki gave me a lovely present - he ate 2 pouches of food and then puked in 3 places on the carpet. 10 minutes later after another pouch of food, he ran around the room puking in 4 places, down the armchair and on the carpet. There was a huge fur ball for me! Thanks Kai, love you too.

Oh dear what a mixed Mother's Day collection of presents lotsofcats. Although only a pet "mother" I did get a collection of similar feline presents, although not quite so bad. I saw Roman outside eating grass before his breakfast, most unusual & then came back in before I'd completed dishing it out. I then found a small pool of foam on the kitchen floor so thought it was from Osiris as no trace of grass. Once cleaned up & breakfasts served I realised it was Roman as there was the grass in the living room!!!! Osiris was generous in the afternoon as he had a couple of small hairball deposits in the bedroom!!! It had to be him as it was all dark fur, at least he'd been kind & got off the bed beforehand!!!! I even managed to give myself a present - what I thought a broken front tooth whilst I eating my evening meal of pork stir fry. Managed to get an dentist's appoint this morning & luckily took the piece with me as it turned out not to be actual tooth but a something that had been bonded on to it to slightly fill the small gap I have in the lower front teeth due to the then dentist removing one of them as they were crossed over. This was in late 2008/early 2009 so it has had 10 years service! The current dentist managed to bond it back into place, so hopefully it will last another 10 years

Nice that you had some pet "mother" presents too tonib and your lovely cats didn't forget you!! Bless them. Funny that you thought you had broken a tooth - lucky it wasn't and it turned out to be easily remedied.

I had a similar present from Flirty on the bedroom floor, and again this morning on the landing floor. And Jasper's gift is a very sore and swollen paw, So thanks for the worry Jasp!
Don't know how he's done it, but he's taken the skin off one of his pad. So he's to have it bathed with salt water and given Loxicom and "try" and keep it covered as much as possible.

Hows Jasper doing now ? , yesterday Beau ended up at the vets , I let him out , heard the usual yapping, thought hes seen a cat I had just taken a cuppa into the lounge , next I know hes come running in and straight into his bed ( in the lounge ) then I spotted bloody foot prints all over the carpet, all thru the hall, out thru the kitchen and lobby , and patio. Left hind , 2nd toe, nail pointing upwards, managed to get the last appointment 5pm , hes snapped the nail right at the base , so 2 injections and a bandage , told 50% chance it will detach and drop off, if it dont then hes to be sedated and have it removed

Poor Beau, that sounds really painful scallywag. I bet you were almost afraid to look after seeing all that blood. Can he go out walking or is he limping?

Ooooooh that sounds painful Do you know how he's managed to do it? I'm kind-of on the sick too Work has just become more and more of a joke and I've started getting tearful, forgetful (couldn't even work out change for £1.49 from a £2 coin yesterday!!! Brain just froze then I started panicking that I was losing my mind!!!) I've also been getting some excruciating splitting headaches behind eyes and around head and cannot sleep a full night without waking in the early hours and then taking ages to nod off again Neil rang me yesterday afternoon just before 5pm and could tell I was having problems speaking. When I told him I just had a splitting headache and had just taken some ibuprofen and was waiting for that to kick in he said ''Right! Leave dog at home - we're going to the doctors!'' I didn't want to go but he insisted so we went along and spoke to a receptionist who gave me a form telling me how to book appointments online. So first thing this morning I've managed to get one for tomorrow ....or, rather, booked up a female doctor to call me at some time. Apparently that's the way they do it now....they call you and have a chat and then decide whether you need to actually come in for a proper appointment! I feel guilty as hell for being off work but Neil is insisting He actually doesn't want me to go back! For about a year the boss was ok then things changed....he won't give you a payslip and demands to know WHY you want one if you ask (errr it's the law numbnuts!!!), won't tell you what your work rota is until around 7pm on Saturday night (our week starts on Sunday!!!), has cut hours down but still expects same amount of jobs done, complains that I talk too much to the customers, says I'm not fast enough on the post office, I constantly get calls from him to go in on my day off (ie last Friday I had to go in for 2 poxy hours!!!) and holidays.....dear god, he FREAKS if you ask for a holiday!!!! You cannot have two weeks together, just one week at a time, and ONLY when he says. He'll tell you, for example, on a Wednesday or Thursday, ''Oh by the way, I'm giving you next week off'' You cannot book a holiday in advance (ie book a caravan months in advance) because he doesn't work that far ahead. And in the past two & half years he's been in charge I've been short-changed with my holidays each time! In December he told Rachel & myself that we still had 3 weeks to take so come January we both took a week, one after the other. February didn't happen because he decided we couldn't take the time off and as our year ends on March 31st Rachel managed to get one week at the beginning of the month but it was only when I reminded him that he begrudgingly gave me the next week off.....although I did have to do a 10hr shift on the Sunday! I then got a phone call five days later asking me to do a paper round on the Saturday morning but when I asked which one it was (there's two I'm not 100% on) he asked if I had the car back on the road. When I said no, she'd failed her MOT he said he'd call me back ad put the phone down! Then the next night I got a text from him at 7.15pm saying I was in at 6am the next morning. Neil texted him back saying a holiday was seven days not six and Gill would be back at work on Monday morning! We heard nothing more but when I went back to work and ever since he's been treating me like dirt. It's got to the point I actually feel like my stomach and guts are churning and I'm going to throw up when I know he's due in or actually is in....I'm just waiting for the constant criticism to start Last week I got wrong for spending too much time doing paperwork (which him and his wife, an accountant, give me to do - vouchers, credit card slips, delivery invoices & receipts etc, bills to send out to customers) and not enough time filling shelves. Apparently my shelf filling is below standard!!! I argued back that I HAD filled as much as I could but seeing as HE had forgotten to do an order we didn't have much stock in the back!!! He stomped off home then came back just before closing and started shouting at me because I hadn't put invoices in the correct order (apparently!) but when I said I had the first time I did the invoices but the second time a week later two of the files had gone missing so I just put all the Booker files (cash & carry) invoices together in one file. Honestly, half the time HE has taken things home!!!!!!! No wonder I've been getting headaches!!!!!!

Its the same time and time again, you have never been happy there , its making you ill, best thing you can do is LEAVE. He is breaking the law, sounds like he is not running the business as he should. Are you on minimum wage ? if so is it the correct amount as that recently changed. Best advice I can give you is get your bum down the C.Advice and have a chat with them.

He walked on it yesterday , will take him out today , he has a saline bag covering it cause the last time he was bandaged up he had it all apart within 3 hours Grrrr.
