Hi Tonib never heard of Pet Remedy so that might be something to look into. It's my OH who is stressing her out. She's never been very good with men and she's taken particularly against him it would seem. Just looked into this and have bought some. I'm very interested in aromatherapy anyway so I think I will benefit from some of the ingredients too. Bonus! Sorry to hear she's reacting to your OH, I'm not sure what to suggest. As to the Pet Remedy - it isn't quite so unobtrusive to the human nose as feliway (but you do get used to it) but it does seem to work on a variety of animals including humans! I've had better nights sleep since we put one in the bedroom. We also have the spray which we use in Penny's carrier.

Just a quick update. I've adopted a new tactic which is to feed her Sheba pouches and she wolfs them and when i can give her them several times a day she seems to start putting the weight on. So it looks as though she's been doing psychological warfare with me over her food! One of the less nice traits of cats!

Typical cat, would starve (ish) rather than eat something they don't want, Glad the Sheba is doing the trick & Georgia's gaining weight again.

The other thing that occurred to me is that if she is a lot older than I think (she was found as a stray) it might be that normal dry food doesn't smell enough for her to be tempted by it. I'm sure I read in your cat that a cat's sense of smell reduces with age. She's certainly hungry.

Could be. Have the vets/rescue aged her in the past?
