I bought myself new craghopper waterproof trousers and they are great, only thing is I want to keep them as good as they are now so it says they should be washed using waterproof cleaner or 100% soap. Any recommendations ?
i was looking online and found different cleaners and some specific for goretex but craghoppers use their own aqua dry and don't know now what to buy. They kept me so warm and dry I don't want to ruin them by chucking them in the machine with any laundry stuff now.
help!

I tried Mountain Warehouse's waterproofing stuff on my Cottontrader's jacket and it didn't work. That is the extent of my experience with waterproofing. But I have some jackets that don't claim to be waterproof and I wash them in ordinary detergent, yet they are pretty waterproof.
Let us know what works for you, thanks.

Thanks I think I'll steer clear of that then, I had someone say just use non-bio but I'd rather use proper for them to last. There are some fancy cleaners that u need to put them in the tumble for 5mins after to deactivate the water proofing but not sure of them since I've got fleece inside and don't want to damage that

I don't think you will damage the fleece in 5 minutes - especially on low heat.
