I agree with it Bextull! Though I think this applies to taking on any dog rescue or puppy in many ways. You have to be honest what you can cope with and what you want.

I agree with it in most ways, as in like, you should only ever adopt a dog (any type of rescue, etc) if the dog is a perfect match for you, your lifestyle and all that malark. I also thought I was going to hate the article!

I thought I was going to hate the article too, but I also agree with it!! Obviously when you take a rescue dog on, you never really know how they're going to be until you've lived with them for a while, but you have to consider everything. When we went looking for our next dog, there were a couple that we really liked, but when we found out a bit more information about them, it was obvious that they wouldn't be right for our situation. None of them were particularly broken, but there were certain issues that wouldn't have been a good match for our lives at the time, so we continued looking. People definitely need to think carefully about what they want before adopting.

I agree with it too. You need to be able to provide a suitable home for the dogs needs aswell so if the dog is scared of people/noise then you shouldn't really be bringing it home to a crowded house anyway because it will make the situation worse. Also if you adopt a dog that needs lots of exercise and you only take it for short walks everyday that's just not fair at all.
