Well, it's been Wallace & Grommit in Bristol now its Elephants in the Trafford Centre in Manchester!
Just seen the local BBC news & apparently there are 40 elephant statues painted by artists & local school-children around the whole shopping centre. Its an exhibition that started today aimed at highlighting th eplight of the Asian elephant. Not sure how long its on for, may have to go & have a look. If so will post photos.

I think it's a nice idea. We had a similar exhibition here last year in nearby Newport city but it was dragons. They were beautifully decorated by local artists. Unfortunately quite a few were vandalised. When the exhibition finished the dragons were sold.
