I enjoyed reading the interview by petitsfilous on page 43 about French Bulldogs - it was lovely to see two familiar faces

I've read a few bits but haven't really had time to sit and enjoy it properly yet.

hehe, in all seriousness, I really enjoyed reading a lot of the sections in this months mag. The 'being home alone survival guide' was really informative and brought to light some things I'd never thought about before when leaving Bernie home alone. Although I'm pretty sure all he does is sleep as he's always just waking up when I come in the door. I always try out the 'five minute training techniques' with my pup. They are written simply making them easy to understand and actually make you want to give them a go as soon as you've finished reading. 'What's in your kit bag' has made me put away my smaller bag in favour of a bigger canvas bag that I can fit many more items in for our walks. On page 69 'Over to you' Someone responded to a previous owners concern over their dogs pink nose... Plastic bowls can have an effect when it comes to noses turning from black to pink but another cause is 'snow nose'. This is when the nose can turn pink with the cold weather. My vet also came out with some bizarre comment about how his nose would turn completely pink and never be black again. I did some research and found that you can bring the pigment back by upping your dogs iron and iodine levels. I spoke to a lovely woman at Dorwest who suggested their Elderberry & Nettle Extract and voila, 3 month later, my pooches nose is black again The information in the 'puppy buyers guide' on the french bulldog was spot on. Your mag has been well spoken about on the French Bulldog forums this month with many going out to buy a copy.

Hey @sophieyourdog From what I've read of the magazine so far it's been another good issue. Lovely seeing a breed profile of a YD forum member. I really enjoy that feature each month, it's one of the first things I read. I'm hoping Cooper can be in it one day although still waiting to hear from Michael about when they will be doing the Boston issue, Do you know when it planned sophie?? Was also nice to see a few dogs from the forum in this months issue, including Coopers smoochie face of course!!

Hi, I'm afraid I don't know the specific issue the Boston is planned for, but hopefully it'll be soon (I love them!)

You wouldn't be a pain! But I know Michael has got your details so he'll be in touch once we get started on the issue that includes the Boston

I really liked the Gallery, as always, but I really enjoyed the feature about the Bloodhounds and the work they do. I had no idea dogs could do much a thing! It was a really interesting read.
