heres the story as follows...
"a stray friendly black and white female had given birth in someones yard, they took her in sadly the kitten had passed away. She delivered another 2 over a couple of hours yet again one had died in the womb and the other we are unsure because she consumed most of it. We got the call and rushed her into the vets at where she delivered another 3 kittens again all dead.... an ultrasound found this little fella still with a beating heart but no sign of budging and so a C section was performed this morning and he was delivered and revived, We have no way of knowing if he will make it or not but for now he will need 1ml of milk every single hour for at least 24 hrs then every 2 hours if he survives that long. I must post this as upsetting as it is to show the consequences of your actions to allow your female unspayed cat outside. This is not an easy job at the best of times and stories like this need not happen but frequently do. Please please spay your girls and neuter your boys, please please do not let your cat have babies... as cute as they are, if you want to see babies come to us for free, we have so many and you are taking homes away from out very needy ones..... "
vito wasnt placed back with his mum, as she was unsure what to do and had already consumed some of them so vito is being hand-reared.
Vito is now 8 days old and doing really well, he is such a little bundle of purrs... and very demanding for his milk, Claire is doing a fantastic job with him, but i thought i would share his story as well with you guys as he is a survivor! and today his eyes started opening!
it wont let me upload photos as it says the forum has exceeded the space???
but here is his facebook page .....PRINCE VITO if you would like to see photos and follow his story x
