One of my pond fish looks as if it has a slightly swollen eye. It seems to be getting on fine, but I just happened to notice this.
We had a fish in the past 'brought out of the water' because of a swelling round the eye.
Any suggestions or help?

Maybe you should check the pH and chemical levels in the pond? You can get a kit to do it yourself, or there are places that will do it for you (not sure where, but one of my local aquatic centres do it)
How often do you change the water in the pond? Do you use tap water?

Do you use tap water? We have a filter to continuously clean the water. Our local centre might check the pH and chemical levels in the pond for us, they have a large fish department. My dad sometimes gives the pond a fill up with hose pipe water. Thanks

Ooh, thanks Avansa! My dad has a few different products but is still pondering about which one to use and if it would be appropriate or not in this situation. Now I know which product helps and we can see if we have any, or get some!

There are others of different brands that will be cheaper/more expensive so have a good look around. That might not be the cause of the swollen eye, but it'll help all of the fish out anyway!
