Poor Maisie Mai is having a hard time keeping all the cats out of the garden now buddy's scent is no longer there. Another New visitor last night. Had 4 different ones in this past week alone.

Sorry you & Maisie Mai are having problems with cat visitors littlekitty. shows how respected Buddy was, despite his age, in the feline neighbourhood Sadly I have 1 visitor I can't stop, a bit of a bully, he thinks my garden is his & will land up with fights with Stevie & Shady, even Lexie a couple of weeks ago (according to his owner he & she were friends!!!) he doesn't have any access to his own home except when they let him in (no catflap installed) so has a tendency to attack my cats at the catflap - going in or out! In the garden they can fight or just have a stand-off but the catflap is a particular hazard. He wasn't a problem when Roman was an outdoor cat or with Osiris, they all had their moments but the catflap wasn't an issue. I suspect that was because Roman, Osiris Lexie were there before him but the 2 new boys are a different matter. I've got a child's small water pistol &, if necessary, can use it to intervene in any fights I see. I feel sorry for the poor boy, he's not uncared for/unloved just finds more shelter in my garden (more shrubs et than his own). So long as he goes home while they are still up he is kept in for the night, he has his food indoors & does tend to know his feeding times but I think he's jealous of my cats ability to come & go at will (during the day that is). I hope Maisie Mai can regain the garden as her territory or come to some peace agreement with the other cats.

A water pistol sounds like a good idea to help Maisie Mai with unwanted visitors.

They are coming in late at night, early morning. we have garden cam so can see them. Usually head straight to the cat flap after chasing Maisie Mai, but they can't get in as it a microchip flap (we had to install it after another cat came in and fought with Maisie Mai). One or two have found a way to eat the hedgehog biscuits (they are under cover in a box).

This one is a bully aswell, chases Maisie Mai in the garden. Early this morning she was chased again, once inside it tried to get in through the flap. Maisie Mai fought it through the flap, smacked the flap twice, catching the cat in the face full force, then went back for another go.

Brave Maisie Mai. I would definitely buy a child's water pistol and try that
