Does anyone on here use the aluminet car covers to help keep their vehicle cooler in the summer?
I am thinking of buying one to use when we HAVE to take the dogs out with us and spend time parked up. They are never left in the car alone obviously and we have windows/ boot open but I have seen these covers and wondered if they work?
Lots of agility people use them so I presume that if you get the right one then they do help but there are so many available I have no idea which one to purchase. Having read several reviews they are described as everything from " brilliant, would never be without it " to " absolutely rubbish, don't waste your money".
Any suggestions or thoughts would be most welcome.
PS .....I don't want to start an argument about taking dogs out in this extreme weather. I frequently travel to visit my Mum in her care home and it is too far away to leave the dogs at home, they have to come with us.

I have one from Aldi. I can't say how affective it is in the summer as I only use it in winter to keep the frost of the windscreen over night. It's good for that thought.

I have one, but couldn’t tell you where it’s from as it was a present years ago haha. It wouldn’t be a really expensive one though. I use it during the summer at dog shows and it works well. It obviously doesn’t keep the car really cool when it’s exceptionally hot, but it definitely helps. I’ve just put a fan in the back too so I can have the boot open with a fan blasting at them. No hate for dogs in cars from me, my guys come everywhere with me and to all the shows in the summer - precautions are taken and they love it!
