Saturday was a real mix of a day.
First of all it was an early start as my friend Ajax was showing 2 of her cats in the Household Pet section & I'm chauffeur. Is I came down stairs I discovered Roman had had a furball in the hall! So cats fed, litter cleared & furball cleaned up. Picked up Ajax & cats & got to the show for 9 a.m.
They were going to judge the Olympian classes first & instead of the judges going round the pens they were being done in a separate area with spectator seats, so we stayed to watch. For whatever reason it didn't go smoothly and started at 10:30 instead of 10. The Household Pets 2 Olympian classes (male & Female) were the last 2 but there previous classes took a long time to complete as there were long gaps between classes for some reason. Our class (female) was the last & started at 1:20!! Normally we've gone during the judging & had some brunch & a wander around around the town where the show was being held. We did manage to get some lunch & returned to the show to discover that they were now judging Best in Show & finally the show finished reasonably early at just after 4 pm.
Despite being rather fed up with the waiting for her Olympian female to be judged she did learn that her male cat Godfrey had won the Imperial class & he now had the number of wins necessary to make him an Imperial Grand Master Cat. So he'll now be competing in the male Olympian Household Pet class. Sadly her Olympian only came 3rd.
Here's a few pictures of Godfrey

Despite the weather supposed to be sunny it was overcast & showery but we managed to avoid getting wet!
Having taken Ajax home & unloaded cats & purchases I headed home via Sainsburys! Finally got home around 7 pm. to find one of the cats (Lexie?) had given the pink Plague Rat toy a companion
