So sad for the poor lady to find out she is terminally ill and to have the monumental task of trying to rehome 70 cats. I hope that people can rally round and help her out. Perhaps other cat rescues can take some of the cats.

I think usually thats what happens here other rescue places help but that poor lady having to part with a lifetimes gathering of friends wouldnt it be nice if they could be with her till she passes over and then another rescue continue on her work

I heard an update yesterday on Radio Lancashire that all but 6 have now been rehomed I know some rescues locally have helped where they can & apparently quite a number of people who have previously rehomed a cat from the lady have come forward to take another one (or more). Shows the power of the media. I know its been shared on a number of FB pages. The cat club whose show I was at last Saturday posted about it on their FB pages saying that "a kind lady" (now I wonder who that could be ) had let them know & given the link. I must update the show manager so she can update their FB page.

That is good news and I'm sure that the remaining 6 will soon be rehomed. Well done for being a "kind lady" tonib.

If I didn't have Jasper, and I know that Flirts wouldn't accept another cat, I would have taken 1 or 2, but I'm so happy that people have rallied round to help.
