Thanks tonib and scallywag. 8 weeks and then they take the pins out because the bone will have healed. I have to keep her in a confined space (one room) for 2 weeks, and keep her from jumping, running etc. Boy, more easily said than done, especially when the cat approaches her. I just took her out for a drive so we wouldn't both go crazy.

Hope it all goes smoothly . Keep us posted xx

Oh no I think I have missed a few posts โน๏ธI didnโt realise panda was having the op. Although looks like it went well ๐ Iโm sure panda will be running around very soon.
Itโs amazing how our pets recover so quickly at the side of humans after surgery ๐ Get well soon xx

Hope Panda is recovering well. I hope you can keep her quiet enough while it all heals.
Mums dog was very good post cruciate op but she is old dog, sadly a work friend of mines springer snapped his repair!

caz2golden That's the fear isn't it. Poor friend. Imagine having to start again from the beginning! (Not to mention another $5,500 AUD.)

I somehow missed the post that Panda was having surgery. I hope she gets well soon. She looks very sorry for herself, bless her. Ouch to the price of her op, but she is so worth it.

jassycat1 how's Panda doing after 3 weeks of her 8 week op. recovery? She'll have done her 2 weeks of confined space incarceration but presumably still no jumping etc.
