My puppy Panda is refusing to go to the toilet outside when it's raining. It's not the first time she has seen rain but I guess the temperature is finally dropping a little towards our Australian winter temps (not very cold by your standards. Any suggestions on how to handle one very defiant and determined little dog would be appreciated.

My dog Kobi doesn't like the rain. He will ask to go out for a wee and if it is raining he will stand on the step (in the rain) and then turn around to come back in so I send him out again and he will do the same again! In the time he's been messing about he could have had his wee and came back in. Have you tried going out with Panda or even taking her out on the lead?

lotsofcats Exactly! the same behaviour. I haven't tried the lead. I am going out with her. She just watches me getting wet from the step under the eaves! You're right. Maybe the lead... I do have a large garden umbrella out there which I can put up if there's not too much wind, but it always seems to blow when it rains lately and I've already seen one umbrella tear itself free, sail over the garden and smash itself! Yes, the lead... Thanks.
