Well off to see Elsa today 😊she will be 7 weeks old now. We should have been going last week but the breeder had something on last wk end and with all the snow we thought we might not get to see her again before she comes home 😊
(Just noticed my avatar as gone ☹️)

Yes i’m Counting down the days now 😊 I’m excited but a little anxious too more so regarding the introduction for Riley and Freddy, I think when we return from collecting her i’m Going to meet my other half with Riley and introduce them that way , even though I won’t be able to put her down I can keep her in my arms and let Riley have a sniff and then bring them both home together.😊
I have bought a crate so I thought about popping her in there where she can feel safe and let Freddy approach her whilst she is in the crate that way I know she will be safe from any hissing ☹️I don’t think Freddy will be impressed at all but i’m sure he will come around in time 😊

I remember bringing Jasper home and introducing him to the two cats. They never got on but lived together in a kind of tolerant harmony. LOL, he used to get battered off Bandit on a regular basis but he'd been taught from the word go not to retaliate, and while we are there he doesn't ,but we could never leave them alone in the house together coz I know that Jasper would get his revenge then. Now Bandit has gone, Flirts just glares at him, but still goes out when we do. I hope that you have better luck with them than we did.

Good idea to use a crate chantel. I wouldn't be without mine, even now. It's handy to pop Toffee in as he doesn't mix with the other cats but sometimes he's happy to sit in there and say hello to some of them that way. He lets me know when he wants to go out to the cat pen. Kobi sleeps in his crate with the door open. I also still have the cats large crate in the living room as it is so handy; again to pop Toffee in when we are eating and he is pestering us to share our food. The 2 youngest cats, Blackberry and Willow still sleep in it.

Oh that's an idea lotsofcats, put Lexie in the crate when we're eating that would be peacegul! We'd have to re-arrange the room quite a bit though - not an issue if we have Roman on cage rest as has happened in the past but as we had to get him a medium dog crate it is rather large on a permanent basis. Oh & Lexie took to walking over it or should that be teetering! I'd be forever telling her to get off or lift her off. She sometimes (or is that often) shows a lack of sense & gets into trouble. She's fallen off the large coffee table a couple of times due to walking on some magazines/papers that were overhanging the edge, climbed the clothes in the wardrobe in her room & brought the rail down with a crash around 3 in the morning!! When we first got her she went up on top of the large (& tall) sideboard/display unit & managed to fall into the gap behind it & get stuck. It is against the wall but due to having skirting boards & the fact the top is slightly narrower than the bottom, there is a gap - I couldn't believe it. I had to get a burly neighbour to help me move it & get her out. The vet checked her over & she was fine although not sure how she felt about being suspended by her head behind the cabinet!! It still hasn't stopped her trying to get onto things she shouldn't if she thinks that there's something there she wants. Recently she's been trying to climb the DVD stand & sending them flying!!! There was a small bag of cat toys from Xmas - its only taken her 2 months + to decide she was intrested. But she's stubborn - we had to move them elsewhere & still she wanted to get up there.

Just to keep you all updated , we won’t be picking Elsa up now until Sunday afternoon ☹️The Breeder has messaged me today to see if we could collect her at 5 tomorrow because unfortunately she has had a fall and had to have her wrist pinned and plated and her o/h is at a football match until 4:30 ish and he would need to be there to help her. The only problem is it is a good 45 minute drive to get there so it would mean we probably wouldn’t get home until 6 and I am concerned that it is a little late and it would not give us much time to introduce Riley to Elsa because it would be dark . Bit disappointed and hoping we are able to collect Elsa as we are expecting more snow this weekend ☹️Hoping it dosent come to much ☹️

That's a bit disappointing, but it will soon be here. I can't wait until you get her home and hear all about how it went, and seeing the photos of her with her new brothers. so you must be almost climbing the walls now. Good luck, and I hope all goes well.
