chantel, have you thought of trying some little doggie boots on Riley to see if that helps him?  it’s a great idea but it’s getting through to his head more than anything bless him . I’v tried all sorts of things e.g baby slipper socks with grips but he wouldn’t even walk in them . He won’t trust himself to walk on a hard floor unless he sees down a mat of some kind ☹️Even though he has seen Elsa chasing around and slipping all over he won’t trust himself to follow. I’m just so glad Elsa doesn’t have the same phobia 😊 I have a laminated hall floor at home and a hard floor in the kitchen and I have to have a runner down the hall and a little rug across the kitchen door entrance and then another runner down in the kitchen ☹️ And even then he runs down the hall really quickly and runs into the kitchen and straight in to his basket. It’s a fear he has and can’t get past ☹️ I don’t think I could ever get past my fear with spiders/snakes lol 😆 x |

 Had a lovely walk on the top of the cliffs at Flamborough this morning looking over the sea 😊the wind was much calmer and the sun was shining brightly as you can see hubby was squinting the sun was so bright 😊 Note how tight he was holding Elsa’s lead 😂 she was going crazy with the wind . Unbelievable the weather is so bleak now , horrendous wind and downpours of rain 🌧 |

 Elsa in her first new coat 😊just in time for those cold crispy morning walks . we took her to cookes pet supplies on Sunday to get her kitted out 😊here she is modelling her new ancol coat all fleecy lined. She always as far too much to say 😂 |

Lovely photos. You can see how much Elsa has grown in that photo of your hubby and the dogs. Nice new coat for Elsa, ready for the Winter. Glad that you've had some nice weather on your holiday.

 Riley after being shedded ready for the winter. I spent a good couple of hrs in the garden yesterday afternoon de shedding him 😊has you can see he doesn’t look very impressed 😊 |

 We celebrated Riley’s 6th Birthday last night 🥳 It was a bit late due to the amount of fireworks at midnight and into the early hrs . As you can see he was still rather groggy bless him after his sedatives New Year’s Eve 😊 but he certainly enjoyed his cake 😊 |
