Received an email today from Riley’s Breeder - say’s that Riley’s sister (missy) has been mated so hopefully will be puppies in 9 weeks time 😊so Riley will be an Uncle 😊😊 So hopefully we will be having a new furbaby in the new year 😊 I have been trying to think of some names fancy something a little bit unusual so any suggestions! I’m quite liking Isobel but think that it would get shortened to Izzy 😊

I came across a lovely name in work not long ago - Meagan, pronounced Maygan. I think I would spell it MAEGAN. It's on my list for future cats.
Great news by the way.

Strange how some of the old fashioned names are coming back , our local got a new black labrador pup shes gorgeous , they called her Mable , and the Landladys Parents dog is called Bertie , both those names are my grandparents (R.I.P) names Just thought I would share that with you , sorry for the hi-jack x

I like your idea of name Darcy. Isobel is nice too be it shortened to Izzy or Belle.
If I was to have a new puppy at this moment in time it would be either be called Beatrice permanently shortened to Bea (nicknamed bumble bee probably), or Ffion which is welsh girls name meaning foxglove.

The only name me and o/h can agree on is Layla which I do quite like and it couldn’t actually be shortened 😊 Having said that Riley was always going to be a Bailey but it didn’t really suit him so I changed it to Riley right at the last minute 😊

Love the name Beatrice/Bea! Would suit a Golden Retriever, or is your next dog going to be a different breed? My Silken pup is going to be Fena/Fenna (not sure how it is spelt/how I like it spelt... will have to have a think!). So exciting chantel! As much as I like the name Izzy, Riley and Layla does have a nice ring to it (or vise versa)

Love my girls and love the breed but may just be too upset to be able to have another once I lose these two. Guess it will be gundog! Time will tell!!!
