I'm thinking of changing Bella's food she's currently eating Felix (which is the food she was given at the rescue centre) I also give her the odd can of Tuna & chicken as a treat, however every so often she has a poorly belly like tonight poor little girls very quiet feeling sorry for herself, Molly used to have Gourmet but not convinced with that one either, any recommendations on a good healthy diet for my girl πΈπΈ

Honey and Olive were on Felix too when we first got them (at 12 weeks old) but they were continually throwing up (about 4/5 times a week each, it was great fun!!!) so the vet suggested a diet with a higher percentage of fish/meat content. They've been on Applepaws wet food and James Wellbeloved biscuits ever since and the throwing up has virtually gone. These are quite expensive alternatives, so we buy them in bulk (enough to last about 4/5 months) but the price is worth it compared to what we were paying in vet bills at the beginning!

She loves it, and more so than any other food I have given her, I would say. It seems pretty good in terms of nutrition, being 13% protein and 3% fat. She also has Applaws tuna & salmon in jelly every other day, and Purina Gourmet Solitaire mini-fillets or Gold chunks in gravy, both of which she likes. The meat in the Felix food looks and smells identical to that in the Purina Gourmet. (Felix is made by Purina). No problems with sickness.

I feed all of my cats on Felix wet food (the Double Delicious and Sensations)and Gourmet Meatie or Seaside Duos for fussy chops Kai Ruki. Sometimes one of the cats is sick but I always put it down to them gulping their food down because it's usually soon after they have eaten. As a treat for the cats I buy frozen fish, tinned tuna in sunflower oil and cooked chicken. The dried food I feed them is RC Urinary SO for Bramble's bladder problems, Light fish variety James Wellbeloved for Toffee and Kali and RC Maine Coon kibble for Kiba-Khan and Kai Ruki (but the others have some now and then, excluding Bramble). If Applaws cat food is on offer when I bulk buy from Zooplus I buy some as a treat for the cats.

Thank you for your suggestions Bella's on Felix As Good As It Looks Meat In Jelly, which she's does like apart from the Chicken such a fuss pot, she's not being sick now we split the pouches into two portions as she gobbles it up way too fast, what she does have is slight case on diarrhoea every so often, wondering if the tuna in spring water could be doing it seems to be a day or so after she's had that, she also has royal canin fit dry but can't see it being that, but gosh all the different foods on the market feels a bit like a minefield πThink I might get her Applaws which appears to be getting a good mention and give it as a treat instead of the tuna which is a shame as she loves the tuna, fingers crossed she'll be happy π

molly9 splitting Bellaa's moist into 1/2's sounds as though you've solved the issue & I'd be inclined to keep to her normal food wth just the serving style, only if she starts beineg sick again would I change it. The Applaws would alwasy be an option for treats at any tim As we buy Lexie's food in bulk from zooplus it could be we've had a rogue batch of Felix or it could be the Felix Twists or just her getting a bit older (she's 7.5 years old) & getting less tolerant to some foods, bearing in mind she had issues as a kitten etc. It could even have been the RC kibble, I doubt we'll know unless she starts be sick again if/when they take her off the meds.
