Hi orpheous87 and others, I've been meaning to ask where do you buy the coconut oil from? To me it looks like the coconut you would scrape from inside a shell lol thanks

I bought mine from Tesco! It's a jar and it's called Groovy Virgin Coconut Oil. It's not cheap though! £6.99 although the jar is a decent size. It's solid inside the jar, but scrapes out with a teaspoon easily enough and if you touch it, it melts

Well today we started with Malted Kelp tablets to increase Jasper's appetite. Fed him Lily's Kitchen Campire wet food and Taste if the Wild dry mixed. And he ate it! Well, most of it! I'm not sure if he's just hungry or if the Kelp tablets are doing the job!

To me it looks like the coconut you would scrape from inside a shell lol thanks I also got mine from tescos too, same as orpheous87. My understanding is it should be Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) or Extra Virgin Coconut Oil (EVCO). Cold-pressed VCO is good too. hth

Not been on for days folks!
So, in the last few days what have they eaten...
Ox kidney, chicken thighs, pork shoulder (no bone in that), diced turkey, some beef, tinned mackerel and sardines and an egg I think. Plus veg cubes and coconut oil. Off to the shops tomorrow!

new member with crazy rescue border colllie cross, Lucy, she had a whole fresh rabbit whilst she was out for a walk, didn't even leave the feet. has only started catching them recently despite being fed on steak, liver, salmon, tuna, chicken or beef mince. a real scavenger, even suprised me when she came out of the woods the other day with half a leg of deer in her mouth. at least she left the hoof this time.I think I had better avoid the field with the Lamas in on the next walk, knowing her she might turn up dragging one by the tail.
