I read with fascination about your dogs dinners, especially the raw feeders. however I just wanted to ask why do you feed veggie cubes? Is this just like knorr stock cubes you buy from the shops? I've never heard of this but I assume the dogs must like them? Do you give them whole? thanks

How did he like his kibble petitsfilous? Is he having trouble swallowing? I'm thinking sore throat after yesterday?? He actually loves it which is a relief! He's getting his kibble little and often. He doesn't appear to have a sore throat and is having no trouble currently pulling my wicker basket to pieces

Yesterdays breakfast was liver for Oscar(I think). Dinner was 2 chicken drumsticks.
This morning he had a whole egg. I, stupidly, decided to give it whole to the dog that finds eggs fun to jump on! Tonight he is getting whatever comes out of the freezer first. I'll take pictures though!
(I really need to get out and do some meat shopping. I know what I want, but I like to have a look everywhere to make sure I get good deals first - so sending Mam isn't going to work. I did get a bad of meat from the butchers today though, plenty of offal, I hope there is some heart too)

Sounds like his well and truely on the mend.

Well, tea tonight was meant to be chicken wings and the rest of the chicken NI from last night. But I couldn't separate the frozen chicken wings, so they had lamb shoulder shank, ox kidney and a little bit of chicken NI: I decided to call at Morrisons on the way home from work to get some offal as I thought the lamb shanks might be a bit much bone on top of the chicken NI from last night. I was glad I did - I got two packs of ox heart for 25p each! As well as the ox kidney and a pack of chicken livers. I paid full price for those, but still didn't spend over £5!

Here it is, one huge photo of tonight's extravaganza. pork ribs, bit of lambs liver, chunk of turkey and a veg cube. mccuddles - my veg cubes are what I blend myself and then freeze in an ice cube tray. I make a batch every couple of weeks, four trays at a time. I made these a while back now and struggle to remember what is in there! Def garlic, apple cider vinegar, ginger, rosemary, spinach and some nuts. If I remember rightly also strawberries apple and spinach or kale or something else that must have been dark green by the look of them!

You're all so fancy with your nice bowls and veg cubes!
Oscar is lucky to get his defrosted (or separated - he's had chicken wings frozen together before), let alone in a bowl with these fancy meat mixes!
I promise to get a picture tomorrow and I'll make sure its a fancy breakfast too *rushes out to garage to get food*

Ha ha Bextull, tbh it's just a mix of whatever's sat in the fridge. Poor dogs will be sick of liver it's been on their menu for a couple of days now, tiny bit left for breakfast. Same goes for pork ribs they've got them tomorrow as well. Oh and funnily enough more Turks too!
For breakfast today they had mackerel and sardines plus a whole carrot each for the crunch.

Ah thanks guys! AnnaAmber sorry yea that makes sense now, I've heard of those. For some reason I had images of you buying knorr stock cubes and then I wondered if you'd ever buy the liquid version lol julie72 wow such dedication, and all that goodness in a little cube. Must admit I'm a little envious at the lengths some of you guys go to

mcCuddles - it might come across that way but really there isn't much effort to it at all, I just chuck bits of whatevers in the fridge in the blender and buzz it up! really handy for using stuff up to be honest and it means they get the variety, which is what you're after really they do love their cubes but then these two like most stuff truth be told.
