They may be recalling them but how many owners will have used them before they are even aware of the issue. I don't know the brand but if they can be bought from shops as opposed to vets then there will be no way to contact the customers unless they visit theshop again. Vets at least would know who thye'd sold it to.
So perhaps we can do what we can to publicise this with people we know - thanks for the info caz2golden.
Happy days with Roman, Osiris & Lexie (remembering Chloe & Penny)
O my God thats sickening i know for those cats that i know in town i use bob martin i get it cheap but if that product was put there at a good price i would have been tempted if the harm is done a recall wont bring back a friend and they have no idea how muvh is out there that would give Me the shivers
There are two means of refuge from the miseries of life: Music and Cats
It's really shocking... That's why I never try chemical flea treatment for my cat. There is a lot of natural flea repellents. Citrus and herbal sprays are good for that purpose. One can use peppermint, basil, wormwood, tansy, garlic, pinewood sawdust. The scent of this stuff scares fleas off as well. Here one can find the description of all means of fighting with fleas. Hope it will come in handy.
I've printed this out and will show the two pet stores we have in Alnwick.....just in case they sell the stuff
Personally I just get my flea & wormer treatments from the vet. Mouse and Nemo were COVERED in fleas when Wendy got them from that revolting chav!!!! I gave them both a good going over with the flea comb too and still managed to get over 27 fleas off Nemo alone! I keep a large bowl of water next to me so I can quickly drown the jumpy critters - it's quite theraputic in a bizarre sort of way Luckily both boys seem to LOVE the attention and purr loudly and just let me go over every inch of them.
