Bella's been sick twice after meals yesterday lunch time and now this morning, last nights dinner she kept inside her. I'm not sure shes just eating too quickly it doesn't seem to have a chance to hit her belly, she acts like shes staving and gobbles it really fast, she was fine yesterday after being ill but this morning shes gone into hiding under my bed . I don't really want to go down the road of the vets too soon especially after the experience with Molly, but don't like seeing Bella like this either, any advice

Has she been wormed since you got her? Was it just food she brought back up or were there bits of matted fur in there too? Chilli used to puke up the odd furball at times Otherwise I think it's possibly just her being a gannet and wolfing her food down too quickly and then tipping it back up Chilli was notorious for this and would go through phases where she'd eat too quickly and bring it back minutes later. Not so much her wet food but more the dry. I would just keep an eye on her for the next day or so - perhaps feed her smaller meals (but the same amount over the course of the full day....four small instead of two larger for example) so there's not so big a meal to weigh heavy on her stomach

There's no fur in it Molly had a tendency to bring up the odd furball too but nothing like that with Bella she's literally bringing the food back up minutes after eating. I've got her some plain chicken and will monitor her, probably do as you say and cut her portions in two see if that helps, she's due her flea treatment on the 1st so may include a wormer 🤔Thank you for the advice much appreciated

Flirty is notorious for overeating and bringing it straight back up. (Often down the back of the radiator ) I now give him half of his pouches at a time, but I'm convinced that he's getting fed somewhere else too, so don't know how much the fat git is eating. But the smaller amounts seem to be working better for him.

Glad things are better Sometimes I think cats are just as bad as dogs for wolfing down their food too quickly! My two have dry food down 24/7 but with wet meals I'll split a sachet between them so it's not huge and weighing heavily on their stomach. Even some of those sachets that are designed to be a single portion for one cat get split.....I'd much rather see a licked-clean plate than loads left over Both seem ok with this system and happily get on with grooming themselves afterwards and then sleeping. I once read that cats are designed to have a few meals during the day but each meal to only be mouse-sized.....it harks back to the days when they had to hunt small rodents and birds to survive.
