Hughie, Desiree, Beau and Aimee all left for their new homes yesterday, they have all settled well with their new families, all eaten, drank and used their trays, all enjoyed exploring and playing with their new toys etc. Rosie cried constantly when all her siblings had gone so she spent most of last night on our laps and playing with her toys around the other cats, she slept in the lounge last night instead of the kittening room, she was as good as gold, Kevin didn't want her to leave as he had really wanted to keep her. We delivered her to her new home this morning, she enjoyed exploring whilst we were talking to her new owner, as we left she sat on the sofa back and watched us leave, she has such a sweet and loving temperament, I'm sure she will be happy in her new home...it was sad to leave her though. Hughie and Rosie are keeping their names, Desiree is now called Sakura, Aimee is now called Noodle and Beau is now called Slinky. We will have a week of peace and quiet before Taylors litter arrive.

You must be happy and sad at the same time. I could never do what you two do.

It is a sad time for us when they go but always nice to hear how well they settle with their new families too.
The couple who have taken Beau and Aimee have put their names down for one of Wispas next litter if she has one like herself.

Good luck in your new homes little kitties. I'm glad that they are all settling down okay. Did Rosie's new owners find another kitten yet?

Hi Jenny, I don't think Rosies new owners are looking for another kitten? They are happy with just having Rosie.

Letting them go must be so hard Sharon, I'm snivelling just reading the thread. At least you have Taylors litter to look forward to.
Why Noodle?

Pets I own: Rosie a Maine Coon, Red and Cream.Aged 4 year in (May2014), a BIG quiet girl, and TiaMaria a Black Russian years on (Nov 2013) who is amazing fun.
Sadly Tia was killed in July 2014 by a car.
My son has Parkinsons and lives 2 miles from me. I got him RILEY a black stray 2year old in February 2014, but from a rescue 14 months ago.Very involved with him !
Pebbles age unknown, thrown out of a car, went to my daughter. Also involved with him ! ALL are adorable and so different.
Now (OCT 2014) have a kitten called Lilyana. She looks like her Mum, a Russian Blue. Her Dad is a Rag Doll. She was born on 24/07/2014....the day my darling Tia was killed on the road.
This was meant to be and she is helping me grieve for Tia. Lilyana is delightful.Rosie is now taking to her

I used to foster babies and cried when they left. Years later I bred Persians in a small way and cried when their babies went to new homes too. My only consolation was knowing that I had vetted the buyers very strictly and could reassure myself they were in good people's hands. I am sure you will be the same.

It is sad to see them go, I think the saddest thing is when you deliver them and then leave them, we don't think we will do that again as it is heartbreaking leaving them behind. Taylor is looking quite round at the minute, she has just 6 days to go to the due date. Aimee has been changed to Noodle as her new owners wanted to find an Oriental name and noodles are an oriental dish.
