Logged on last night as normal and was shocked to find my name changed to Mrs F**ky and my chicken avatar was a pornographic one!!!!!!! I have therefore decided to delete myself to remove any offensive material as I just feel that whoever is hacking into my account is just taking the mickey now Until this culprit is found (police are finally taking us - neighbour and us - seriously) I'm not taking part in any internet activity PLEASE....respect my privacy and do not contact me as I just feel I need a complete nd utter break from all of this nonsense

So sorry to hear that someone is doing that to you. That's totally horrid. Hope you can get to the bottom of who the person is doing it to you and that the Police can do something about it and quickly. What is the world coming to to!! I know very little about these things but can Your Pet help at all to provide info to Police such as computer number that's accessing the account (other than Gillykat)? Hope it will not be long till you can come back on here. Going to miss you. Please know that I am thinking about you and that I do care. Though we are only communicating via social media many of you I do count as friends.

This is incredible!poor gillykat. There are some very sick people around, what pleasure can they possibly get by it?Its either someone very childish who has a grudge and is probably jealous of her for some obscure reason,or its to try and mess up the forum, again for some wierd reason.Definitely someone with scrambled marbles. It's a great pity,as her allotment posts are really enjoyable and interesting, and she enjoys sharing her experiences with us all. I completely understand gillycat wanting to back off for a while, she won't know who she can trust until the person is tracked down, and they eventually will be,as she won't know who she can trust. It can't be a very nice feeling to know someone this nasty and creepy can hack into her computer.

How awful for someone to do that, it really is sick. Poor gillykat, I really hope the police can sort it out and find the culprit and stop them. It is not only annoying, it is quite scary too. I hope she will be back with us in the near future.

All sorted.....and a lot faster than I thought! Police were nae use nor ornament and haven't done anything other than give a stern telling off to the person responsible because he's only 14 Though I do think his mother will give him a much more punishing time - she's already confiscated his laptop and smart phone which to a teenager must be like having a limb removed Serves the little poopscoop right! Our neighbour (guy above the culprit) was the one who tracked him down. Don't know how as I'm clueless about gadgetry and computer wizardry but from what I can gather he got his friend who works in computer stuff to do something with his pc and from there they were able to find out it was downstairs that caused the problems! He knocked on their door (with his friend) and they confronted the kid and it was only when they said they had evidence and were going to the police that he confessed that he'd ''only been messing about and didn't mean no harm'' His mother went BALLISTIC at him and actually called the police herself!!!!! They came round and spoke to the neighbour and then had a 'little chat' with the lad which, according to his mother, made him poop bricks I only heard about these goings on yesterday morning as Neil was on a triple shift Saturday night through to Monday morning so not at home and I was late shift on Saturday then on the allotment on Sunday for a few hours then came home, had tea and went to bed as I was shattered! I feel SO much more relieved that it's been sorted as it was one stress I didn't need on top of worrying about Nina. Lily (who, lets face it is scared of her own shadow some days!) has been pretty weird this past week or two and Neil was adamant that she was scared of Nina and that if things didn't improve then we would have to find a new home for her I definitely don't want that as I still feel guilty about giving up Sandy and, last year, Holly the chihuahua-X. Plus....I really REALLY adore Nina already - she's so affectionate and talkative and playful and FUNNY And seeing her relaxing these past few weeks and her personality blooming has been wonderful. It's been REALLY stressing me out these past two/three weeks as I felt that to rehome her would be like betraying her and I worried myself sick about what if she ended up like Black Beauty and shuffled from one home to another I've also had my boss being a complete and utter bovine at work and treating ALL of us like dirt! She obviously isn't happy with life at home so is taking it out on us....she keeps prattling on about how hard her life is.....yeah, a week in Spain over half-term then two days in London with a friend and THEN four days in Milan with her partner as he had a works-related conference. Even C., who is pretty laid back, has said that if she bleats on about how hard up they are once more she'll smack her one BUT.....apart from work which is still a work in progress.....I'm feeling a lot more positive as things seemed to have turned a corner with Lily and she's realising that perhaps Nina is not out to eat her (!) and we've got to the bottom of this computer nonsense ~ I really WAS becoming paranoid and wondering who I'd upset so much as to have them hate me and mess with my head so much! In a way it's a relief to know it was 'just' some daft kid messing about and nothing personal. The rest of our neighbours are pensioners *and Mad Caroline* who don't have computers so they were unaffected by this...it was just Neil and myself and the guy next door....who I really must find out his name! He moved in just before Christmas and I know his face and have spoken a few times but his name just keeps eluding me Anyway.....hopefully things can now settle down and I can get back to my harmless life of chatting on garden & pet forums and playing on my allotment and won't have any more troubles! And, as the kid's mum said, if there IS any more then she insists we let her know! 5pm on Monday 14th March.....progress!

It's definitely her scallywag. Welcome back. So pleased that it is all sorted. I can sense your relief that it was a stupid kid and not someone really evil. Nonetheless I expect you still feel like killing him! Some of these kids nowadays are too clever at some things and should put it to a better use. I'm glad his Mum was sensible and called the police. I hope that Lily will accept Nina, at least they are sat together even if Lily is regarding her suspiciously. I expect that Lily has been picking up on your stress in the past few weeks and will relax more now, fingers crossed.
