I don't have PB or Flickr account, tried earlier to load picture and it would not load, same error message as others have reported.
Is this going to be a permanent problem?

I'm guessing yes caz2golden as to store photos on a forum takes up a lot of space, so external loading will probably be the way to go.

Caz2golden, both photobucket & flickr are free accounts & you can set privacy settings on them so only you can see the pictures unless you post the correct code on here. Don't know if that answers any of your concerns or it is totally unrelated.
Edit:- Whoops can see this has already been said apologies - took to long going through all the threads I hadn't read today!

I only use Flickr, I've never uploaded a photo to the forum. I understand its quite a slow process, I like having all my photos on Flickr because I can share them instantly.

No it's very quick to upload, if you look in the help thread it tells you how to do it from flickr. I use Photobucket and all I do is copy the relevant code and paste it in my post and hey presto it's here. Try it, it's really easy. PS it's just the same as posting smilies.

I purley use Photobucket to store photos and edit them. My computer holds all the good'ens, and I simply can't go around resizing all my photos on PB every time I want to upload a quick picture to the forum! PB is not as quick and simple as some people make is sound!! I like the smilies website, you just copy a code. That's what PB does yes, but the pictures always come out massive on the forum, and its then unfair to other members to only see a huge Earl every time I post a picture! They should be smaller from the start... Sorry, picky rant over.

Yes, I agree with you BT. I can't stand photobucket, its slow and the photos always seem to be massive!

Why don't you resize the photos before you put them on to PB?? That's what I do, then when you upload them from there they are not to big

I don't know how to, gladys. I could only find the resize option ON PB.

Well if you resize on the PB site surely the photos will be smaller when you upload them here??
