Hello everyone I haven't really used this forum much but when I have done you've all been incredibly lovely and helpful, especially in giving advice about Oscar's eye removal. Sadly, Oscar took a turn for the worst over the last few weeks. He stopped eating, wouldn't jump around as much or go outside as much and hated being picked up. We initially thought it was arthritis and my mum took him to the vets, however the news was much worse. He had a cancerous tumour in his stomach that was too large to remove. The kindest option was to keep him sedated and put him to sleep on the same day. He got to ten years of age and will be buried in the garden, he was my first pet so I'll miss him for a looong time coming, if not forever. x

Aw, such sad news - Oscar was a gorgeous boy. You will miss him forever but it will get easier over time. Remember the good years he had with you. It is a very sad time for anyone to lose a beloved pet but it does help to share it with the other forum members.
RIP Oscar

How terribly sad. Im so sorry. Your decision to end his suffering was at this difficult time the kindest thing you could have done for him. Rest in peace Oscar. You will never forget him - and so long live his memory within your thoughts.
