Hi CC, sorry to hear about this. Some dog owners are very irresponsible. Recently though I had a similar experience when walking Bramble, when a Great Dane went for her. The owners got him away quickly, and luckily Bramble didn't have any marks from him. But the owners knew he was aggressive towards other dogs, yet still let him approach - and know Bramble does get twitchy walking past that area. I am a huge fan of Rottweilers, but they need to be trained and controlled probably, which this one obviously didn't have. Hope you are both alright. And that this doesn't happen again.

Thank you everyone for your help and concern. My mum and dad know and if we see that owner again we will be having a quiet word with her. Me and my mum have checked Jess over and she seems to be ok After the walk she was a bit reluctant to go out again but now, after a few days, she seems fine. I trust that if we saw that dog again Jess would know quicker than I would. Especially when walking Jess on my own (which I often do after school) I will be staying clear of that road. Thanks again and sorry for such a late reply but school work has been ganging up on me

Lovely to know Jess doesn't seem threatened by serious pain and that she seems ok CurlyCub. Hopefully she will continue to act positively whilst on walks from this day forth.
